Furry Friends

Joan has always been a steadfast supporter of animal rights. Her deep love and compassion for all animals has led her to look into some of the shelters throughout the country that rescue "big cats". These beautiful creatures are rescued from abuse, neglect and abandonment when they have gotten too big to handle. Joan sponsors the following admirable places: Tiger Haven in Tennessee and Big Cat Rescue in Florida.

Joan is also very active with the local shelters in her area by rescuing and finding great homes for strays and unwanted animals. You can help too by commissioning Joan to make a living doll for you. She will donate 50% of the purchase price to an animal shelter.
